Music lessons should be fun, and making sure the student enjoys the lessons is my first priority, followed by helping the student achieve musical excellence. Lessons are customized based on the learning style and interests of the student.

Private piano and voice lessons in your home are available within the Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Danville, San Ramon, and Pleasant Hill areas.
Tuition
The month’s tuition is due in full at the first lesson of each month.
30 minute lesson - $35
One hour lesson - $50
Missed Lessons
Your lesson time is reserved for you. Please call or email 24 hours in advance if a lesson will be missed. In case of illness, shorter notice is acceptable and understood. If you are ill, please call and we will reschedule your lesson. I do not teach students when they are sick, so be sure to cancel!
Books
A $25 materials fee is due at the first lesson. I will purchase your books for you and inform you when an additional materials fee is needed. If lessons are ended, any remaining funds will be refunded.
Piano
Piano students must have a tuned piano that is in good condition (all keys working, for example). An electronic keyboard that has full-size, touch sensitive keys is also acceptable.
It is also important to play on a tuned and well-maintained piano. Plan on getting your piano tuned every year. If you need the name of a tuner, I can refer you to one.
Practice
The more you practice, the better you will get, and the more fun you will have! I highly recommend daily practice, but I do not require a set number of hours per week. Nevertheless, I do expect steady progress from my students which only comes through practice.
